Derek Johns

CASA BLANCA - Derek Bryan "Boog" Johns, 29, died on July 21, 2015, at Chandler Regional Medical Center.

Visitation will be from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday at the Antone home in Casa Blanca. The funeral there will be at 5 a.m. Sunday, with Pastor Julian Pedro officiating. Burial will be in Vah-Ki Cemetery.

Mr. Johns was born on Jan. 9, 1986. He was a farm worker and enjoyed drawing, listening to reggae and rap, and hanging out with his family and friends, especially his kids.

Survivors include a daughter, Hope Johns of Casa Blanca; a son, Exzavier Johns of Casa Blanca; his parents, Constance Antone and Patrick Johns Jr. of Casa Blanca; and three brothers, Earl Antone and Daryl Johns of Casa Blanca and Darius Johns of Victorville, California. He was preceded in death by a brother, Patrick Johns III, and two sisters, Angel Antone and Hope Sabrina Johns.
