COOLIDGE - Dewayne E. Newton, 76, of Coolidge died on Dec. 11, 2015, at Hospice of the Valley.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud Coolidge Chapel. The graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Florence Cemetery.
Mr. Newton was born on Oct. 11, 1939, in Wanette, Oklahoma, and was a son of Jarvis Newton and Dollie Pickles. He was a cotton ginner before retirement and loved to play guitar and sing. He also liked hunting and fishing and was very family oriented.
Survivors include his wife, Willie Mae; two daughters, Teresa A. Murray and Denise Charrez; a son, Dale Newton; two sisters, Louise Boy and Kay Mooneyham; a brother, Bill Newton; 14 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
