SANTAN - Dolores Faye Knox, 63, of Santan died peacefully in Sacaton on June 21, 2016.
Ms. Knox was born on Sept. 12, 1952, in Sacaton to George and Patricia Knox. Also called Yaw-Yaw, she was a loving, compassionate and caring mother and grandmother.
Her favorite colors were pink and purple, and her hobbies included gardening, picking up rocks, watching prairie dogs and looking at the mountains. Most of all she loved her crossword puzzles and enjoying her family’s company. She loved her jewelry and spending quality time with her grandkids.
Survivors include her husband, Alvin Enis; four daughters and sons, Theresa Knox and Lenny Conger of Santan, Irene Conger of Salt River and Meinrad Knox Jr. of Santan; two sisters, Claire A. Knox of Sacaton and Andrea J. Knox of Santan; three brothers, Anthony Knox of Santan, Gregory Knox of South Dakota and Rodrick Knox of Phoenix; 15 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and three sons, Murry and Meinrad Knox Sr. and David Conger.
Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Sunday at St. Anne feast house. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 7 a.m. Monday at St. Anne Catholic Mission by the Rev. Michael Tinker. Burial will be in St. Anne Catholic Cemetery.
