Dolores Garcia Hernandez

CASA GRANDE - Dolores Garcia Hernandez, 87, died on March 25, 2018.

Mrs. Hernandez was born on Jan. 31, 1931, in Rivera, Texas, and was a daughter of Maria Rojas Garcia. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed gardening, sewing and cooking. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family, including all of her grandchildren.

Survivors include nine daughters and sons, Esmeralda Gomez of Maricopa, Maria Elena Martinez of Corpus Christi, Texas, Stella Ortiz, Olivia Campos, Dolores Morris, Ruben Hernandez, Rosemary H. Soliz, Raymond G. Hernandez and Hermalinda Mavis, all of Maricopa; 31 grandchildren; 88 great-grandchildren; and 32 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Domingo; a granddaughter, Carmelita Gomez; three brothers; and four sisters.

Visitation beginning at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, April 4, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, with rosary recited at 10. Funeral Mass celebrated at 10:30 by the Rev. Alan Valencia. Burial in Mountain View Cemetery.
