Dolores (Pineda) Ledezma

CASA GRANDE - Dolores (Pineda) Ledezma, 97, of Casa Grande died on Aug. 5, 2016, at Oasis Pavilion Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

Mrs. Ledezma was born on May 19, 1919, in Kerrville, Texas, to Trinidad Pineda Sr. and Juana (Gallegos) Pineda. She later had a stepfather, Gilberto Aguerro Sr. She was a wonderful woman with a very kind heart. She loved listening to music, helping others and spending time with her family.

She especially loved visiting with her grandchildren. She was loved for her feisty personality and was a nurturing woman who was well-known by many.

Survivors include two daughters, Rosa Esquivel and Francisca R. Hernandez; five stepdaughters, Julia Hernandez, Margie Laney, Mary Hernandez, Thomasa Latham and Leticia Munoz; a stepbrother, Gilberto Aguerro Jr.; a sister, Viviana Borjas; 31 grandchildren; 74 great-grandchildren; and 77 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Juan Ledezma; a daughter, Maria Villarreal; a brother, Trinidad Pineda Jr.; a sister, Francisca Archuleta; a stepson, Jesus Ledezma; and a grandson, Raul Villarreal Jr.

The celebration of life will be at 3 p.m. Aug. 17 at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel, with Elder Manuel Hernandez officiating.
