Don Davis

Donald R. "Don" Davis, 73, of Casa Grande, a retired retail manager, died on Nov. 22, 2011, at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center, with his sister at his side.
The graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Mountain View Cemetery, with Pastor Roy Edwards officiating.
Mr. Davis was born on March 3, 1938, in Pawhuska, Okla., and was a son of Arthur L. and Mary M. Davis. He graduated from Ponca City (Okla.) High School and worked in retail sales most of his life, specializing in shoe sales. He loved his pets and was a compassionate man.
Survivors include two sons, Greg and Doug Davis of Missouri; a daughter, Cheryl Street of Texas; two brothers, Art Davis Jr. of Midwest City, Okla., and Jim Davis of Portland, Ore.; three sisters, Dorothy L. Crisp of Casa Grande, Mary Ellen Jones and Kathy Melnick of Blackwell, Okla.; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth and Dalewayne Davis and his parents.
