COOLIDGE — Donald Dean “Don” Jarrett, 78, of Coolidge died on July 14, 2010, in Casa Grande.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Tuesday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud Coolidge Chapel.
Mr. Jarrett was born on June 27, 1932, in Indiana. He served in the Navy from 1951 to 1954 and was a machinist’s mate fireman. He later was a state investigator. He and his late wife fostered children for 10 years in Pinal County. He enjoyed sports on TV and the Food Channel. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include three sons, Duane and Luke Jarrett of Coolidge and Rusty Jarrett of Arizona City; three daughters, Vickie Murillo of Coolidge, Brandi Scroggins and Diane Jarrett of Casa Grande; two brothers, Jack and Nick Jarrett of Indiana; two sisters, Beverly and Sherri Jarrett of Indiana; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Vivian, and a brother, Rod Jarrett.
