Donald Coops

SACATON - Donald Francis Coops, 54, of Las Vegas died on Jan. 28, 2014, at Valley Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas.

Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at River of Life Assembly of God. The funeral there will be at 7 a.m. Saturday, with the Rev. Lorenzo Coops Jr. officiating. Burial will be in East Sacaton Cemetery.

Mr. Coops was born on Dec. 8, 1959, in Sacaton. He was an office assistant for tribal government and enjoyed being with friends and family.

Survivors include three brothers, Lorenzo S. Coops Jr. and Eric Coops of Sacaton and Dale Coops of Mesa, and a sister, Caroline Coops Leyva of Stotonic. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lorenzo S. Coops Sr. and Charlotte S. Blackwater Coops; a brother, Norman Coops; and a sister, Barbara Coops.
