ARIZONA CITY - Donald F. Meisner, 87, of Arizona City died on April 18, 2015.
Celebrations of life will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Arizona City and at 4 p.m. May 3 at Coastline Bible Church in Ventura, California. Pastor Keith Durham and Pastor Rob Perkins will officiate.
Mr. Meisner was born on Aug. 17, 1927, in Rifle, Colorado, and was a son of Henry and Mary Meisner. He worked for the federal government and during the Reagan administration was director of security at the missile test center at Naval Air Station Point Mugu in Ventura County. He was a member of Coastline Bible Church and First Baptist Church.
He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He and his wife traveled to all 50 states and many foreign countries. He enjoyed travel, camping and taking cruises.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Natalie; four sons, David Meisner of St. Cloud, Florida, Larry Meisner of Arizona City, Garry Meisner of Spokane, Washington, and Brian Meisner of Ventura; seven grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
