Donald Hunter, 85, of Casa Grande died on Oct. 25, 2010, at Jaidon Manor assisted living home.
Mr. Hunter was born on Sept. 9, 1925, in Monroe, N.Y., and was a son of Ernest Hunter and Florence Conklin. He served in the Navy during World War II. He was a firefighter and retired from the village of Harriman, N.Y., as public works supervisor. He was a hunter and fisherman.
Survivors include four sons, David Hunter of Jefferson City, Mo., Kevin Hunter of Swansboro, N.C., Roger Hunter of Coraopolis, Pa., and Mark Nicoli of California; a daughter, Lois Bass of Aberdeen, N.J.; a sister, Patty Grove of Casa Grande; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria; a brother, Russell Stevens; and a sister, Betty Nunn.
