Donald John Lutz

Donald John Lutz, 71, of Casa Grande died on March 28, 2010 at St. Joseph’s Hospital & Medical Center in Phoenix.
The memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Fred Hazel officiating. Burial will be in Michigan.
Mr. Lutz was born on Nov. 22, 1938 in Bay City, Mich., and was a son of Rudolph Lutz and Edna Schmidt. He served in the Army National Guard and became a building contractor. He enjoyed spending time with his family and pets. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, auto racing, watching NASCAR, listening to polka music and making his own wine.
Survivors include his wife, Robin; three daughters, Sharon Ingold of Kannapolis, N.C., Lynette Starr of Elk Rapids, Mich., and Chandra Holt of Coloma, Mich.; five sons, Tim Lutz of Gold Hill, N.C., Tom Lutz of Au Gres, Mich., Terry Lutz of Pigeon, Mich., Ted Lutz of Monroe, N.C., and Shane Russell of Bristol, Ind.; a brother, Victor Lutz of Au Gres; 28 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
