Donald Mabry

RIO RANCHO, N.M. - Donald E. Mabry, 78, of Rio Rancho and a winter resident of Casa Grande, died on Feb. 26, 2014, at home.

Mr. Mabry was born on March 19, 1935, in Folsom, Pa., and was a son of Edwin and Venice Mabry. He was a pharmacist for 35 years before retiring. He started his career at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington and also worked in Oklahoma and New Mexico. He loved hunting, fishing and golf.

Survivors include his wife, Roberta J.; two sons, Donald "Eddie" Mabry of Norfolk, Va., and Edward Knoll of Grimes, Iowa; a daughter, Mary Ripol of Farmington, N.M.; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Montgomery, and a brother, Barry Mabry.

No service is planned.
