Donna B. Reyes

CASA GRANDE - Donna B. Reyes, 76, of Casa Grande died peacefully on March 8, 2016, at Oasis Pavilion Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Reyes was born on Sept. 15, 1939, in Littlefork, Minnesota, to Glenn and Fairybelle Spears. She later had a stepmother, Ruth Spears. On Sept. 21, 1957, she married Loren Reyes. She was a homemaker and they spent most of their married life in International Falls, Minnesota, and their later years in Casa Grande.

She was devoted to her family and loved dogs, making a home for many throughout her life. She also loved playing games, especially bingo and cards with her family. She took advantage of every opportunity to spend time with or talk to her loved ones and was known for her prolonged hello and goodbye hugs.

Survivors include her loving husband of 58 years; a son, Stephen Reyes of Davenport, Iowa; a daughter, Lorna Reyes of Casa Grande; a brother, Gloyd "Buddy" Spears of International Falls; a sister, Gwen Mikish of Blaine, Minnesota; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Leola Little and Lorraine Spears, and a brother, George "Sonny" Spears.

No memorial service will be held at her request, with private interment later.
