CASA GRANDE - Donna Lee Murdock, 84, of Casa Grande died peacefully on Sept. 16, 2016.
Mrs. Murdock was born on May 16, 1932, in Phoenix to Leland and Donna Entrekin. She, along with her brothers and sisters, spent summers at Greer Lodge, which was built by her father. She graduated from Arizona State University, which was then known as Arizona State College, with a degree in education.
She taught in Flagstaff and then moved to Ganado, where she met her husband, Bonnie. They moved to Eloy in 1962, where she taught elementary school - fifth grade for most of her career before retirement.
Survivors include two daughters, Lisa Flores of Casa Grande and Sandra Murdock of Arizona City; a son, Michael Murdock of Summerville, South Carolina; four brothers and sisters, Phillip Entrekin of Kentucky, Beverly Clark of New Mexico, Lanny Entrekin of Perth, Australia, and Priscilla Woods of Safford; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband.
The memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Oct. 1 at Eloy First United Methodist Church.
