Donna Tilley

FLORENCE - Donna Jeanne Tilley, 73, of Florence died on March 2, 2014.

Mrs. Tilley was born on Nov. 26, 1940, in Inglewood, Calif., and was a daughter of Melvin and Arcelia Flemming. She had a master’s degree in education and was working toward a doctorate. She was an educator of gifted children in Bullhead City for many years. She enjoyed travel, especially with her grandchildren. One of her hobbies was genealogy, and she had traced her family back to the Mayflower.

Survivors include her husband, James; three sons, Brian Calder of Joshua, Texas, Richard Calder of Sierra Vista and Troy Calder of Florence; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Roy Flemming.

The service will be held later in California.
