Dora N. Nevarez

CASA GRANDE - Dora N. Nevarez, 84, of Casa Grande died on Jan. 7, 2016, at Oasis Pavilion Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 by the Rev. Alan Valencia. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.

Mrs. Nevarez was born on Feb. 6, 1931, in San Benito, Texas, and was a daughter of Guadalupe Navarro and Maria Guevara. She was a school attendance clerk and a member of St. Anthony’s Church and American Legion Auxiliary Unit 6.

She had a true passion for music, especially mariachi. She enjoyed travel and family get-togethers and was known for celebrating every holiday and everyone’s birthday. She believed her greatest achievement was her family.

Survivors include three daughters, Norma Tarango and Dora N. Perez of Casa Grande and Diana N. Perez of Phoenix; a son, Ray Nevarez Jr. of Casa Grande; two brothers, Robert Falcon of Alexandria, Louisiana, and Joe Falcon of Katy, Texas; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Reynaldo A.
