STANFIELD — Dorcas Francine Sam, 66, of Stanfield died on Nov. 18, 2012, in Minot, N.D.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Monday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel, with rosary recited at 7. A scripture service will follow at 7:30, with Deacon Tino Tarango officiating.
Mrs. Sam was born on July 11, 1946, in Minot. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Casa Grande. She loved listening to Elvis Presley music, reading and taking trips to casinos, but her family was her passion.
Survivors include four sons, Delroy, Delano and Julian Sam Jr. and Juan Garcia, all of Stanfield; her stepmother, Annabelle Gunn of New Town, N.D.; three brothers, Mahlon Gunn of New Town, Freddy and Faron Gunn of Bismarck, N.D.; and several grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Julian Sam Sr.; her parents, Faith Fox and Fredd Gunn Jr.; and a brother, Gary Gunn.
