SACATON - Doris Thomas, 52, died on Feb. 27, 2016, at Hu Hu Kam Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Thomas was born on Nov. 21, 1963, in Sacaton. She was a homemaker and loved to baby-sit. She enjoyed spending time eating with her family and friends and loved attending West Casa Blanca Worshiping Center. She also enjoyed listening to Christian music and singing and spent many hours venturing out driving with her daughter.
Survivors include her husband, Anthony E.; a daughter, Tiffany Alvarez of Bapchule; five brothers, Charles Justin of Casa Blanca, Dwayne Justin of Sacaton, Earl Justin of Ak-Chin, Willman and Kerlin Justin of Maricopa; three sisters, Arlene Johns and Wilma Cannon of Casa Blanca and Eloisa Pedro of Casa Grande; and 10 stepchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, William S. Justin and Priscilla Pedro.
Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday at the District 5 Multipurpose Building. The funeral will be at 8 a.m. Saturday at West Casa Blanca Worshiping Center, with Francis Williams officiating. Burial will be in Stotonic Cowboy Cemetery.
