COOLIDGE - Dorothea Lavetta Patrick, 68, died Aug. 8, 2007 in Casa Grande.
The memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at God's Way Ministries in Coolidge, with Pastor Lloyd Waggoner officiating.
Mrs. Patrick was born May 11, 1939 in Bushnell, Ill. She lived in Arizona for more than 20 years, mostly in the Coolidge area, which she dearly loved. She was a housekeeping supervisor. She was a member of God's Way Ministries, where she was known as "Sister Dottie."
She volunteered at the Coolidge Chamber of Commerce as well as the food bank and Coolidge Adult Center. She enjoyed making baskets of flowers and won ribbons at the Pinal County Fair. She also won the fair's Ugly Cake Contest. She loved all types of animals, especially dogs, and her best friend was her dog Little Bit.
Survivors include five daughters, Patricia L. Selle of Priest River, Idaho, Jannett K. Olson of Casa Grande, Cathy S. Clark of Ridgecrest, Calif., Barbara A. Manzanedo of Coolidge and Julia R. Patrick-Morton of Casa Grande; a son, Stephen H. Peterson of Lake Medina, Texas; a brother, Don C. Grey of San Diego; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry W. Patrick, in 2003.
