ELOY — Dorothy M. Parker, 92, of Tucson died on Nov. 21, 2012, at home.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday at First Southern Baptist Church in Eloy. The funeral will follow at 11, with Apostle Warren Anderson Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park.
Mrs. Parker was born on Nov. 26, 1919, in Wortham, Texas. She worked for the Eloy Elementary School District from 1965 until 1986 and was head cook. The cafeteria at Curiel School was dedicated in her name in 1986. She was a member of Westside Church of God in Christ in Eloy and Living Waters Ministries in Tucson and spent her life serving the Lord in various auxiliaries.
Survivors include three daughters, Doris Hampton of Arizona City, Saletha Stevenson and Barbara Patterson of Tucson; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur E.; a son, Arthur E. Parker Jr.; a grandson, Michael A. Hampton; two brothers; and eight sisters.
