Douglas Lee Kinne, 68, of Casa Grande died on Jan. 4, 2012, at home.
A private service was planned.
Mr. Kinne was born on Oct. 9, 1943, in Milwaukee and was a son of Harold G. and Adele M. Weidner. He was a heavy-equipment operator and retired from CEMEX after 32 years. He also was a firefighter and EMT for 12 years in Waukesha, Wis. He collected model railroad items and set them up for display. He also collected model railroading magazines and his earliest edition was from 1943. He was an avid hunter, especially of deer.
Survivors include his wife, Vickie; nine sons, Gary, Nicholas, Andrew, Kevin, James, Phil and David Kinne, all of Casa Grande, Steve and Tommy Keith of Nevada; two daughters, Jessica Kinne of Arizona City and Amanda Kinne of Casa Grande; a brother, Glenn Weidner of Wisconsin; a sister, Carol Rosner of Wisconsin; and 16 grandchildren.
J. Warren Funeral Services, Mountain View Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
