Douglas Mcarthur Tyler

Douglas McArthur Tyler, 59, of Casa Grande died on Feb. 15, 2015, at Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at Fountains of Living Water Church in Casa Grande. The celebration of life will follow at 11, with Pastor Elizabeth Tyler officiating.

Mr. Tyler was born on Aug. 5, 1955, in Madisonville, Texas. He was a caregiver for the state and a big Los Angeles Lakers and Washington Redskins fan. He enjoyed going to zoos and museums and traveling around Arizona. He loved the outdoors and family get-togethers.

Survivors include his wife, Cozy; four daughters, Evette Payne of Phoenix, Chasity, Amber and Brianna Dixon, all of Casa Grande; four sons, Ryan and Douglas "Macado" Skinner, Brandon and Preston Dixon, all of Casa Grande; six sisters, Rose Gavin and Alberta Tyler of Casa Grande, Peggy Craddock of Phoenix, Bridgette, Barbara Ann and Johnny M. Tyler, all of Houston; seven brothers, William, Ralph, Tyron and Ronald Tyler, all of Houston, Butch Tyler of Mississippi, Johnny Tyler of Phoenix and Clarence Tyler of Georgia; 19 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Alberta Tyler, and a sister, Lavetta Duarte.
