Duncan Albert Wiston

BLACKWATER - Duncan Albert Wiston Sr., 50, of Blackwater died on Dec. 6, 2018, after a long battle with cancer.

Mr. Wiston was born on Feb. 20, 1968, in Sacaton and was a son of Vernon G. Wiston and Cordelia E. Osife. He was a proud father and grandfather who always provided his family with love and encouragement.

His wild spirit brought laughter and joy into the friendships he deeply cherished. He was known for his bravery during his fight with cancer.

Survivors include his mother; five adult children, Duncan Wiston Jr., Davia, Sequoya and Lalanya Wiston and Tabatha Ridenour; four siblings, Randal Wiston, Travis, Galen and Faith Blackwater; and a grandchild. He was preceded in death by his father.

Graveside service at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 12, in Sacaton East Cemetery. Gathering following in the Blackwater Multipurpose Building.
