Dwayne A. Thomas

CHUICHU VILLAGE - Dwayne A. Thomas, 35, of Chuichu died at home on April 15, 2014.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Hiram Enos Sr. home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 4 p.m. at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Burial will be in North Chuichu Cemetery.

Mr. Thomas was born on Feb. 21, 1979, in Mesa. He was a child care worker and loved children. He helped to take care of his nieces, nephews and great-niece and also loved his three godchildren. He enjoyed playing volleyball with his family, dancing and listening to music, and Janet Jackson was his favorite. He enjoyed hanging out with his family and friends.

Survivors include his mother, Jacquelyn M. Thomas of Tucson; three brothers, Aaron Thomas of Tucson, Larson Thomas of Casa Grande and Dallas Thomas of Maricopa; a sister, Joyce Jose of Chuichu; and his grandfather Hiram Enos Sr. of Chuichu. He was preceded in death by his father, Larry G. Thomas, and a brother, Oland Thomas.
