Dwayne W. Mcrae

November 15, 1958 — October 19, 2015

MARICOPA - Dwayne W. McRae, 56, of Maricopa died at home on Oct. 19, 2015.

Mr. McRae was born and reared in De Queen, Arkansas. He graduated from De Queen High School, where he was a proud member of the Leopards football team and president of the Student Council. He was a certified pipeline welder for more than 30 years. When he settled in Arizona in 2002, he started some businesses, T-MAC Pipe Constructors LLC and DMPL PLLC. He also became a certified pipeline welding inspector.

He was a fun-loving guy who also loved people. He was generous and kind to all he knew and enjoyed racing at dirt tracks for several years until he became ill. He owned Late Model race cars and enjoyed sponsoring drivers.

He was preceded in death by his father, Walter McRae, and is survived by his wife, Tamra; his mother, Pauline of Fort Smith, Arkansas; two daughters, Tera Hicks of Greenville, South Carolina, and Sara Stewart of De Queen; three sisters, Diana Wilkins of Booneville, Arkansas, Carol Myers of Boyce, Louisiana, and Connie Walters of Fort Smith; and three grandchildren.

The memorial service will be held later.
