Earl Edward Long

CASA GRANDE - Earl Edward Long Sr., 84, of Casa Grande died on Oct. 27, 2017, at home, surrounded by his family.
Mr. Long was born on April 10, 1933, in Jonesboro, Arkansas, to Thomas and Nora Mae (Tally) Long. He was the lead singer of the band Earl Long and the Sundown Cowboys and performed in the Phoenix metro area in his earlier years.
He was a Houston Astros fan and enjoyed going to lunch, people watching and socializing.
Survivors include two daughters, Kimberlyn R. and Robyn Long of Casa Grande; a son, Eugene E. Long of Buckeye; a brother, Jerry Long of Arkansas; and a grandson. He was preceded in death by a son, Earl E. Long Jr., and seven siblings.
Private celebration of life.
