Earlie B. Spearmon

ELOY - Earlie B. Spearmon, 78, of Eloy died Aug. 19, 2008 at home.


Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at Westside Church of God in Christ. The funeral will follow at 11, with the Rev. R.B. Fowler officiating. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park.

Mrs. Spearmon was born May 18, 1930 in Crockett, Texas, and was a daughter of Sarah A. Downey and Willie B. Rodgers. She worked in home health care and also was a seamstress. She loved fishing, sewing and cooking. She enjoyed family gatherings and loved being around kids.

Survivors include a sister, Elvie Dean Gardner of Madill, Okla.; two brothers, Willie B. Rodgers of Hitchcock, Texas, and A.C. Rodgers of Tucson; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie; two sisters, Elizabeth Campbell and Margie Purvis; and three brothers, Ernest, J.W. and O.C. Rodgers.
