Edward Ortiz

CASA GRANDE - Edward Ortiz, 96, of Casa Grande died on Nov. 28, 2015, at home.

Mr. Ortiz was born on June 15, 1919, in Puerto Rico and was a son of Jose Ortiz and Delores Gonzalez. He was a superintendent and retired in 1998. He was a man who worked well with his hands and was able to build anything he set his mind to. He liked puttering around and spending time with his two daughters. Considered to be a true gentleman, he always treated people the way he wanted to be treated.

Survivors include two daughters, Anita Todd of Casa Grande and Yvette Alba of New York City. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Maria, and a granddaughter, Vanessa L. Todd.
