Edward R. Armenta

Edward R. "Eddie" Armenta, 86, a Casa Grande native, died Jan. 26, 2008 at Yuma Life Care Center.


Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel. A scripture service will be held there at 1 p.m. next Saturday. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.

Mr. Armenta was born May 29, 1921. He was a military veteran, a Casa Grande businessman and also served as constable in the area.

Survivors include two sons, David "Yogi" Armenta of Casa Grande and Tomie Encarnacion Armenta of Yuma; two brothers, Redondo "Pooter" and Lionel Armenta of Casa Grande; and 14 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Blance; a son, Dennis Armenta; and a daughter, Annette Dornheim.
