Edwin Ernest Frerichs

Edwin E. Frerichs of Casa Grande, Arizona died on March 6, 2022. Edwin was born on September 9, 1954, in Sidney, Nebraska to Art and Billie Frerichs, and was one of five children.

In June of 1972 Edwin married his longtime love, Georgia (Weber) and together they welcomed two children of their own, Stacey and Jeremiah. From 1973-1975 Edwin served his country as a member of the U.S. Navy. Edwin called Lockeford, California home for 23 years before coming to Casa Grande. Between the years of 1985-1989 Edwin was self-employed, eventually spending over 20 years servicing major railroads after derailments would happen. Unfortunately, he was forced to retire in 2019 because of health issues that he developed in that field of work. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf and spending time with his family and friends.

Edwin is preceded in death by his parents, Art and Billie Frerichs, grandparents, Ernest and Esther Frerichs and mother and father-in-law. Left to cherish his memory are Georgia, his two children, Stacey Frerichs (Casa Grande, AZ), Jeremiah Frerich (Aleondro, CA), four siblings, Carol Johns (Dalton, NE), Ron Frerichs (McCook, NE), Don Frerichs (Sidney, NE) and Gerald Frerichs (Dalton, NE) and eight grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter, as well as special friends Bob Daily from Sidney and Jeff VanCura from North Platte, Nebraska, Dave and Virginia Repenning from Joliet, MT and Norma Hays from Oxford, NE.

A visitation will be held on Friday, March 11, 2022, at 4:00pm, for one hour, at J. Warren Funeral Services Mountain View Chapel and Cemetery in Casa Grande, Arizona.
