Edwin C Marrietta Sr.

Edwin C. Marrietta Sr., 65, of Bapchule, passed away peacefully in Chandler on January 1, 2025. He was born on August 31, 1959, in Sacaton, to Hastings Marrietta Sr. and Virginia Jones.

A dedicated sports enthusiast, Edwin had a particular fondness for baseball and basketball and served as an umpire in his younger years. He was an active member of the Gila River Kingdom Builders and Training Center, where he participated in discipleship classes aimed at earning his exalter's certificate.

Edwin was known for his warm welcome and infectious smile, always eager to lend a helping hand to those around him. He cherished spending time with his family, especially enjoying sports and movies with his daughter.

He is survived by his beloved children, Edwin Marrietta Jr. and Katrina Marrietta, as well as five cherished grandchildren. His spirit and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
