Efren Zamora Medel

STANFIELD - Efren Zamora Medel, 77, died on Sept. 27, 2019.

Mr. Medel was born on June 12, 1942, in Mexico and was a son of Felipe and Luz Medel. He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved being outdoors.

Survivors include his wife, Josefa; seven daughters and sons, Carina Juarez of Stanfield, Efren Medel Jr. of Stanfield, Antonio Medel of Casa Grande, Alicia Medel, Jesus Rodriguez and Noemi Medel, all of Riverside, California, and Juana Medel of Phoenix; 22 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Rigoberto Medel.

Visitation beginning at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 3, at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel in Casa Grande, with rosary recited at 7. Funeral Mass celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 4, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Burial in Mountain View Cemetery.
