Eileen Kempton

CASA GRANDE - Eileen Kempton, 87, died on Sept. 12, 2019, in Casa Grande.

Mrs. Kempton was born in Canton, Ohio, and moved to Arizona with her parents at an early age. A graduate of Mesa High School, she was involved in Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, Eloy Little League and the Eloy Jaycees, along with supporting the various other activities her children participated in during their early years in Eloy.

She also assisted her husband as a member of the Pinal County Fair Board and spent many weekends at the stock car track and other events held at the fairgrounds. In later years, they took several road trips to California. They were just as comfortable sitting in the car driving as they were sitting at home watching NASCAR.

She is survived by four adult children, Reed Kempton, Leona Folkerts, Brian Kempton and Farron Kempton, along with their children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Garth.
