Eleanor E. Castillo

Eleanor E. Castillo, 76, of Casa Grande died on March 8, 2015, at home.

Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Apostolic Tabernacle. The funeral will follow at 10, with Pastor Andy Combs officiating. Interment will be private.

Mrs. Castillo was born on Nov. 18, 1938, in Artesia, New Mexico, and was a daughter of Enrique and Feliciana (Guevara) Estrada. She was a homemaker and was devoted to her family and friends. An active member of Apostolic Tabernacle, she taught Bible studies and was involved in the Ladies Ministry. Her passion was singing in the choir with her husband. They were the Spanish choir directors for five years. She loved serving her church community and others.

Survivors include her husband, Cristino N. "Tino"; three daughters, Cindy Castillo of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Michelle Owens of Gilbert and Rachel Marquez of San Diego; a son, Cristino N. "Cris" Castillo Jr. of Casa Grande; two sisters, Sally Montielo of Casa Grande and Angela Segovia of Boise, Idaho; two brothers, Fidel Estrada of Avondale and Enrique Estrada of Douglas; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a baby girl, Christina Castillo, and two baby boys, Rodolfo and Samuel.
