Eleanor M. Mendonsa

AJO - Eleanor M. Mendonsa, 97, of Ajo died May 16, 2007 in Surprise.

The memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at United Methodist Church of the Good Shepherd, 400 W. Duarte Road in Arcadia, Calif., with the Rev. Philip Wood and the Rev. Melissa MacKinnon officiating.

Mrs. Mendonsa was born July 4, 1909 in the Panama Canal Zone. She was a trust officer and worked in the banking industry for 47 years before retirement. She was a member of the Quota Club, a women's service group, in Pasadena, Calif. She was a member of Church of the Good Shepherd.

She is survived by a son, Donald Mendonsa of Ajo; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold O., and a sister, Katherine Cawthon.
