ELOY — Eliseo P. Rodriguez, 74, of Eloy died on June 17, 2010, at home.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church, with rosary recited at 7. Funeral Mass will be celebrated there at 9 a.m. Wednesday by the Rev. Juan Carlos Aguirre. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park.
Mr. Rodriguez was born on Feb. 19, 1936, in Mexico and was a son of Genaro and Cristela Rodriguez. He was a heavy-equipment operator for the city of Eloy for 26 years. He was a member of St. Helen’s Church and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially at get-togethers. He was devoted to his family. His hobbies were handyman work, gardening and mechanics.
Survivors include his wife, Eva S.; three sons, Eliseo Rodriguez Jr. of Arizona City, Eliberto Rodriguez of New York City and Kiki Rodriguez of Tucson; two daughters, Ene Rodriguez of Yuma and Elda Rodriguez of Eloy; three brothers, Rojelio Rodriguez of Texas, Israel Rodriguez of New Mexico and Alfonso Rodriguez of Arizona City; two sisters, Sofia Lopez of Fresno, Calif., and Elia Elizondo of Salinas, Calif.; 14 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Servando Rodriguez.
