Elizabeth Manuel

Elizabeth Marie Manuel, 84, of Bapchule died on Oct. 28, 2010, at Hospice Family Care.
The wake will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday at Billy Farris Feast House and continue after 11 p.m. at her home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 8 a.m. Friday at St. Peter Catholic Church by the Rev. Ed Meulemans. Burial will be in St. Peter Cemetery.
Ms. Manuel was born on Dec. 29, 1925, in Casa Blanca and was a daughter of Francisco Manuel and Anita Lewis. She was a homemaker and loved to sew, listen to chicken scratch music and watch WWE wrestling on TV. She enjoyed reading the newspaper and spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include a son, Vernon Gibson of Bapchule; three daughters, Charlotte Alphus of Coolidge, Katherine Gibson of Phoenix and Theresa Gibson of Bapchule; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Gibson, and a daughter, Gloria Gibson.
