COOLIDGE — Elma Eloisa Solano, 83, of Coolidge died on March 21, 2011, in Casa Grande.
Rosary was recited at 6 p.m. Monday at St. James Catholic Church. Visitation was from 5 to 7 p.m. and beginning at 9 a.m. Tuesday. Funeral Mass was celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday by the Rev. Virgilio Tabo. Burial was in Florence Cemetery.
Ms. Solano was born on Nov. 9, 1927, in Winkelman and was a daughter of Jim and Teresa Sellick. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family, going to casinos, cooking, cleaning and taking care of herself.
Survivors include two daughters, Nadine Gortariz of Coolidge and Delia Figueroa of Mesa; a son, John Solano of Mesa; a sister, Teresa Pena of Globe; two brothers, Alonzo Sellick of Miami and Sonny Sellick of California; 20 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Gregory Solano, and three sisters, Flora Riveras, Grace Marine and Caroline Solano.
J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud Coolidge Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
