Elvera "Vera" Katherine (Toews) Haynes

CASA GRANDE - Elvera Katherine "Vera" Toews Haynes, 87, of Casa Grande died on Oct. 5, 2017.
Mrs. Haynes was born on Oct. 15, 1929, in Ontario, Canada, to Peter J. and Katherine Toews. She grew up in Merced, California, and lived in Coolidge and Mena, Arkansas, before retiring to the Casa Grande area.
She loved to cook and was well known for her delicious pies. She loved her husband Claude, her family and her Lord Jesus.
Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Isaac Claude; their four adult children, Claudia Adams, Barbara Bingham, Robert and John Haynes; a sister, Katherine Laechelin; 17 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Henry Toews.
Visitation beginning at 9 a.m. Monday, Oct. 9, at CrossRoads Church. Memorial service at 10, with Pastor Tim Hill officiating.
