Elwood C. Kelsey,

Elwood C. Kelsey Sr., 85, of Casa Grande died March 20, 2008 at RTA Hospice House.


The service will be held later in Indiana.

Mr. Kelsey was born Jan. 30, 1923 in Crown Point, Ind., and was a son of Guy R. Kelsey and Martha Zander. He was a pipe fitter. He was a Mason and American Legion member and was responsible for establishing a Moose lodge in Crown Point in 1958.

Survivors include his wife, Arline R.; three sons, Donald Kelsey of Castle Rock, Colo., Duane Kelsey of Coloma, Calif., and Elwood Kelsey Jr. of Cedar Lake, Ind.; a daughter, Donna Kelsey-Maddox of Indianapolis; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Darlene Enlow; two brothers; and three sisters.
