BAPCHULE - Emery Brandon Brown II, 48, of Bapchule died on Aug. 25, 2016, at home.
Mr. Brown was born on May 29, 1968, in Sacaton to Emery and Bernice Brown. He was devoted to his family and a man of Catholic and traditional faith. He was a social man with a great sense of humor.
He was an avid football Cardinals fan. He absolutely loved music, both listening and playing, and spent the last 10 years drumming with his group, Pima Express. He was a man of many talents and titles but above all he was a family man.
He is survived by eight daughters and sons, Anisa, Deven, Brandon, Brysen, Emerisia and Daren Brown, all of Bapchule, Jeremy and Emery Brown III of Polacca; two brothers, Raymond Kyyitan Sr. and Aaron Brown; six sisters, Janet Kyyitan, Glendora Melton, Carolyn Enos, Cornelia and Jacqueline Brown and Annette Santos; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Harlen Santos, Randall and Irenius Brown.
Rosary will be recited at 4 p.m. Friday, with an all-night wake to follow, at his home, 3296 W. Ira Hayes Blvd. in Bapchule. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 6 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Peter Cemetery.
