Enoch Johnson

SACATON - Enoch Johnson Jr., 81, died on Nov. 8, 2019.

Mr. Johnson was born on Dec. 2, 1937, to Enoch Johnson Sr. and Mida Jones Miguel in Sacaton. He loved his dog and spending time with family, especially his grandkids and great-grandkids.

He enjoyed watching movies, being outdoors and doing crossword puzzles. He also loved being in the mountains and enjoyed going hunting. He was a stern man but full of love.

He is survived by his wife, Myrtis; two daughters, Angelina and Gloria Johnson; three siblings, Van, Carlos and Selwyn Johnson; 31 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three sons, Salvatore, Kevin and Sheldon Johnson, and two daughters, Francis and Victoria Johnson.

Wake beginning at 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 22, at the District 3 Service Center in Sacaton. Funeral Mass celebrated at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23, at St. Anthony Catholic Mission in Sacaton. Burial in East Cemetery.
