ELOY — Epifanio J. Rodriguez, 78, of Eloy died Oct. 3, 2009 at Hospice Family Care in Casa Grande.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Wednesday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Valley Chapel. The funeral will follow at 10, with Pastor Salvador Galaviz officiating. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park.
Mr. Rodriguez was born April 7, 1931 in Staples, Texas, and was a son of Ysidro Rodriguez and Valentina Juarez. He was a farm laborer. He loved music, dancing, singing and fishing. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Estella C.; two daughters, Lupe Pulido of San Bernardino, Calif., and Delia Gonzales of Yakima, Wash.; six sons, David, Joe and Epifanio Rodriguez Jr., all of Eloy, Gabriel and Arthur Rodriguez of Casa Grande and Ysidro Rodriguez of Arizona City; three sisters, Elena Rodriguez of Bakersfield, Calif., Maria Diaz of Wenatchee, Wash., and Josie Guardian of Santa Paula, Calif.; a brother, Eduardo Rodriguez of Chicago; 28 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Cristina Moreno, and a brother, Genaro Rodriguez.
