Erileen Cone, 52, of Casa Grande died peacefully on July 7, 2011, in Casa Grande, with family and friends by her side.
The celebration of life will be at 6 p.m. Friday at United Methodist Church of Arizona City, 12921 S. Sunland Gin Road, with Pastor Josh Ibarra officiating.
Ms. Cone was born on Nov. 28, 1958, in Casa Grande. She enjoyed watching movies, playing games, spreading the word of God and spending time with loved ones. She was known for her chocolate cake, Spanish rise and salsa.
Always laughing and helping others overcome life’s adversities, she was a woman of faith who filled many hearts with positivity and warmth. Her favorite color was purple, said to represent peace of mind and spirituality. She saw the good in people and always spoke of those she loved as “her beloved.”
Survivors include three brothers, Otis L. Cooper Sr. of Victorville, Calif., James Cone of California and John T. Cone of Rock Island, Ill.; two sisters, Geraldine Uranga of Albuquerque, N.M., and Lela M. Reyna of Arizona City; eight nieces; six nephews; and several great-nieces and -nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Orval J. Cone and Pauline Combee; her stepfather, Carl Combee; a daughter, Denise M. Cone; and a brother, Jack Cooper.
