Erna Mills

Erna Josephine Mills, 70, died on February 25, 2022, at the Caring House Skilled Nursing and Rehab in Sacaton, Arizona. She was born January 11, 1952, to mother Eleanor Johnson and Emil Porter. Erna was so generous, caring, kind and sweet in her own way. She loved her families, especially the children. And she loved pets, mainly dogs. Erna retired from Hu Hu Kam Memorial Hospital-Behavioral Health New Beginnings. She enjoyed spending her time watching the former show “Everyone Loves Raymond”, watching DVDs and playing computer games. Plus sharing her time with her BFF ‘Chachi”.
She is survived by Charles Mills, two sisters, Cheryl Jackson, Loretta Blackwater, and a brother Richard Blackwater, 3 nephews, 8plus grandchildren and 2plus great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her father, Emil Porter, her mother Eleanor Johnson, stepdad Cyrus Johnson, two brothers Philip Jackson, Paul Johnson, a sister Carla Johnson and a niece, Michelle Blackwater.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 18th from 6-8pm at 215 Wipsmal St. in Sacaton and burial will be the next morning, 8am at West Cemetery in Sacaton.
