Ernest D. Pilgrim, 72, of Casa Grande died on March 27, 2014, at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Pilgrim was born on Dec. 8, 1941, in Dyersburg, Tenn., and was a son of Ernest W. and Mary E. Pilgrim. He served in the Air Force and was a pastor for 50 years, a dedicated servant of the Lord. He also was devoted to his family and had a great passion for horses, breeding, training and shoeing them. A talented man, he also owned a business, Table Top Leather Crafters, and made saddles, bridles and other leather accessories.
Survivors include his wife, Rachel D.; a daughter, Pamela Patterson of Dyersburg; two sons, Chester Pilgrim of Dyersburg and Joshua Pilgrim of Flagstaff; two sisters, Peggy Seratt of Tennessee and Joyce Evanco of Ohio; one grandchild; and four great-grandchildren.
