Ernest "Ernie" Wolfchief

CASA GRANDE - Ernest "Ernie" Wolfchief Jr., 75, of Casa Grande died on Nov. 28, 2019.

Mr. Wolfchief was born in Phoenix on Aug. 25, 1944, and was a son of Ernest Wolfchief Sr. and Pearl Richardson. He served in Army as a mechanic. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service in Scottsdale and moved to Casa Grande.

He volunteered every day at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church and enjoyed his dogs.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Mack, Mark and Leonard Wolfchief. Survivors include his wife, Connie; three daughters, Kim Romweber, Veronica and Monica Wolfchief; two sons, Jason and John Wolfchief; and 15 grandchildren.

Rosary recited at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 11, and funeral Mass celebrated at 11, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.
