Ernest G. Gutierrez

CASA GRANDE - Ernest G. Gutierrez, 91, of Casa Grande died on July 18, 2019.

Mr. Gutierrez was a son of Jesus and Carmen Gutierrez. He was a longtime hay contractor in the Casa Grande area and an avid racehorse fan who owned and operated a horse training track in the area.

He was preceded in death by two sons, David and Ernesto K. Gutierrez Jr.; and eight siblings, George Gutierrez, Sarah Gutierrez Ochoa, Virginia Gutierrez Alnicky, Dora Gutierrez Lopez, Sally Gutierrez Torres, Carmen Gutierrez Bernal, Lola Garcia and Stella Gutierrez. He is survived by six daughters and sons, Elva Gutierrez, Raymond Gutierrez, Mary Helen DeLeon, Bobby Joe Kakar Gutierrez, Richard I.K. Gutierrez and Toby David Gutierrez; his siblings, Gloria G. Torres, Frances Gutierrez Guzman and Cristina Gutierrez Ochoa; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, July 26, at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel. Rosary recited at 9 a.m. and funeral Mass celebrated at 9:30 on Saturday, July 27, at St. Anthony of Padula Catholic Church. Burial in Mountain View Cemetery.
