Ernest Lopez, Jr.

COCKLEBUR VILLAGE — Ernest Lopez Jr., 79, died on Feb. 1, 2022.

Mr. Lopez was born on March 17, 1942, in Sacaton and was a son of Ernest Lopez Sr. and Clara Garcia. He loved spending time with his dogs and cats and enjoyed sports and music.

Survivors include four adult children, Bernett Lopez, Venita Garcia, Timothy and Stanford Lopez; two siblings, Margie Rodriguez and Juanita Whitright; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ella Jane, and three siblings, Mary Enos, Frances Antone and Harry Lopez.

Service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 12, in Cocklebur Village, with burial to follow.
