Ernest Neumann

Ernest George Neumann, 86, of Casa Grande died on Nov. 12, 2012, at The Garnet of Casa Grande.
The graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, in Phoenix.
Mr. Neumann was born on April 3, 1926, in New Leipzig, N.D. He served in the Air Force and worked for police departments. He retired from the Los Angeles Police Department and also was chief pilot for the Pomona Police Department Motorcycle Group, flying helicopters. He was a member of a Goldwing motorcycle club and enjoyed flying remote control planes, riding motorcycles and tinkering with things. He was a good mechanic.
Survivors include a daughter, Nancy M. Hart of Prescott Valley; two sons, Monte Neumann of California and Mark Neumann of Hawaii; and eight grandchildren.
